Troop 15's American Flag Service provides a convenient hassle-free way to show patriotism and support scouting. For a yearly fee of $75, we will place a beautiful 3x5ft American flag on a 10ft pole at your residence or Merrimack company on the following patriotic holidays:

All funds raised through our American Flag Service will support Troop 15's Seabase venture in 2025. Seabase is an exciting scouting program that offers unique aquatics programs that provide scouts with unforgettable experiences and valuable life skills. How do I enroll in the American Flag Service?
To enroll, simply fill out the form below with your details and make a secure payment through our Square account.
What if I'm not available on one of the designated holidays?
If you're unavailable on a designated holiday, don't worry! You do not need to be present for flag installation. Please let us know in advance, and Troop 15 will ensure the flag will be installed on the designated holiday. We understand that showing patriotism while away or on vacation is essential, and we'll make arrangements accordingly.
Is the $75 fee for the entire year?
Yes, the $75 fee covers the service for the entire year, including setup and takedown on all designated holidays. However, we offer a $5 discount for military personnel, bringing the fee to $70 for eligible participants.
Is the American Flag Service available for commercial properties?
Yes, the American Flag Service is available for Merrimack companies as well.
How will the funds raised through the American Flag Service be used?
All funds raised through our American Flag Service will support Troop 15's Seabase venture in 2025. Additionally, proceeds will support Troop 15 in developing young leaders in the Merrimack community through camping, high adventures, troop equipment, and other scouting needs.
What is the process for lawn installation and flag placement?
Troop 15 scouts will install an 18-inch plastic stake to support the 9-foot pole. This stake will be removed after each holiday. The flag will be securely placed near your mailbox to avoid any electrical, gas, or water pipes on your property.
What is the subscription deadline for the American Flag Service?
The deadline is usually 1-2 weeks before each holiday to ensure routes are covered. If you subscribe after the deadline, your subscription will include that holiday next year.
Isn’t the flag supposed to be illuminated at night? And what about bad weather?
We do not provide lights but encourage you to place a small solar-powered light to shine on the flag. Please remove the flag and shelter it in your garage or home in inclement weather.

Troop 15 is a pair of scout-led troops (BT15 and GT15) with strong outdoor programs. BT15 for boys and GT15 is for girls. Scouts BSA is open to boys and girls aged 11 to 17. We are located in Merrimack, NH, and our chartered organization is St. John Neumann Church at 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, NH. We meet most Tuesday nights at 7pm.
